Her's

Her's were a Liverpool-based duo formed by Stephen Fitzpatrick (vocals, guitar) from Barrow-in-Furness and Audun Laading (bass, backing vocals) from Flekkerøy, Norway, who met while studying at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Their sound blended jangly, dreamy guitar pop with a wry, playful sensibility, drawing on influences from classic indie pop and lo-fi bedroom recording.

After a run of self-released material, including the collection Songs of Her's and singles such as «Marcel», «What Once Was» and «Speed Racer», the band released their debut album, Invitation to Her's, in August 2018. The record showcased their warm, hazy guitar tones and offbeat humor, earning them a devoted following within the UK indie scene.

In March 2019, both members and their tour manager Trevor Engelbrektson were killed in a car crash while on their second US tour, cutting short a promising and beloved project. Her's are remembered fondly for their charm, wit, and distinctive dream-pop sound, and their catalogue remains a touchstone for fans of jangle pop.
