About the artist
Hedley is a Canadian pop-rock group that formed in 2003 in Abbotsford, British Columbia, taking its name from the small community of Hedley, B.C. Fronted by Jacob Hoggard, the band built a career on radio-friendly, hook-driven pop-rock that blended guitar-based energy with polished, arena-ready production, making them one of the more commercially successful Canadian rock acts of their era.
The band's catalogue spans anthemic singles like «Perfect», «Better Days» and «Lose Control», alongside more electronic-leaning, dance-pop-inflected tracks such as «Kiss You Inside Out» and «For The Nights I Can't Remember», reflecting a gradual evolution from straightforward rock toward glossier pop production over the course of their career.
Hits including «Love Again», «Can't Slow Down» and «Hello» further cemented Hedley's presence on Canadian charts and radio. In 2018 the band announced an indefinite hiatus after rape allegations were brought against Hoggard, effectively ending the group's active output.
