Hadise

Hadise Açıkgöz, known mononymously as Hadise, is a Turkish-Belgian singer, dancer, songwriter, and television personality. Born in Belgium to Turkish parents, she first rose to fame in the Belgian and Dutch music scenes before establishing a major career in Turkey. Her sound blends pop with R&B, electronic, and dance elements, often built around powerful vocals and energetic choreography, making her one of the more internationally recognizable Turkish pop stars of her generation.

Hadise broke through with her debut album «Sweat» in 2005, which produced several hit singles and earned her early recognition in Belgium and Turkey. She built on this momentum with her self-titled album «Hadise» in 2008, cementing her dual-market appeal. Her biggest moment on the world stage came in 2009, when she represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest with «Düm Tek Tek», finishing fourth and turning the song into a crossover hit that topped charts in Belgium.

Following Eurovision, Hadise released «Fast Life» and «Kahraman» in the same year, then shifted her focus increasingly toward the Turkish market with albums like «Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer?» and «Tavsiye». Beyond music, she has become a prominent television personality in Turkey, judging talent competitions and maintaining a high public profile alongside her recording career.
