Habib Wahid

Habib Wahid is a Bangladeshi composer, producer, and singer widely regarded as one of the key figures who reshaped the country's popular music in the 2000s. He began his career primarily as a producer, crafting tracks that fused mainstream pop and hip-hop sensibilities with elements drawn from traditional Bangladeshi folk music, giving his early productions a distinctive hybrid identity that stood apart from the dominant band-rock sound of the era.

As he grew into a vocalist in his own right, Habib expanded his range considerably, moving between soulful R&B, upbeat rock, and electronic and dance-inflected pop. His debut solo album, «Krishno», marked an important turning point and drew wide critical and popular acclaim, setting the tone for a discography — both solo and in collaboration with other artists — that consistently mixed genres rather than settling into one lane.
