Ha-Ash

Ha*Ash is a Mexican-American pop and country duo formed in 2002 by sisters Hanna and Ashley Ha-Ash, though raised largely in Mexico, they built their career centered in the Mexican and broader Latin pop market while keeping ties to their American roots. Signed to Sony Music Latin as teenagers, they released their self-titled debut in 2003 with producer Aureo Baqueiro, establishing a sound rooted in polished Latin pop with strong vocal harmonies characteristic of sibling duos.

Over the following decade the group moved gradually toward a country-pop hybrid, recording part of their album Habitacion Doble in Nashville and collaborating with American singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile. This period broadened their sound beyond the Latin pop mainstream and introduced English-language material into their catalog. Songs such as «Lo Aprendi de Ti» and «Ojala» became defining hits, showcasing their emotionally direct songwriting about heartbreak and independence.

Ha*Ash remain one of the most enduring sister duos in contemporary Latin music, known for blending pop, country and rock influences while maintaining a consistent vocal identity built on close two-part harmony.
