Greyson Chance

Greyson Chance is an American singer-songwriter and pianist born August 16, 1997, in Edmond, Oklahoma. He shot to worldwide attention at age twelve when a video of him performing Lady Gaga's «Paparazzi» at a school talent show went viral, eventually catching the eye of Ellen DeGeneres, who invited him onto her talk show in 2010 and signed him to her newly launched label, eleveneleven.

His debut album, Hold On 'til the Night, followed later that year, led by singles like «Waiting Outside the Lines» and «Unfriend You», and introduced him as a young pop artist built around piano-driven songwriting. After stepping away from music to attend university, Chance re-emerged as an independent artist with a more mature, self-directed sound, releasing the album portraits in 2019 — his first project where he had full creative control over writing and production.

Since his return, Chance has cultivated a devoted fanbase drawn to his introspective lyricism and blend of pop with electronic and country-tinged influences, moving well beyond his viral-video origins into a sustained, artist-led career.
