Gloria Loring

Gloria Loring is an American singer and actress best known for her television work and for co-writing and performing the theme song to the sitcom The Facts of Life. Active from the 1970s onward, she built a career that spanned soap operas, primetime television and adult contemporary music, becoming a familiar voice and face to American audiences of that era.

Her biggest chart success came with «Friends and Lovers», a duet with Carl Anderson that became a major adult contemporary and pop hit in the mid-1980s, showcasing her polished, emotive vocal style typical of the era's romantic ballads.
