George Ezra

George Ezra (born 7 June 1993 in Bristol, England) is an English singer-songwriter known for his deep, resonant baritone voice, which stands out sharply against his youthful appearance and folk-pop songwriting. He first gained attention with the EPs Did You Hear the Rain? and Cassy O', before breaking through internationally with the single «Budapest», a global hit that topped charts in several countries.

His debut album Wanted on Voyage (2014) went to number one in the UK and became one of the best-selling albums of the year, establishing him as a major voice in British pop with folk and travel-inspired influences. His sophomore record Staying at Tamara's (2018) produced the hits «Paradise» and «Shotgun», the latter reaching number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Ezra's sound blends acoustic-driven pop with warm, anthemic choruses, often drawing on his travels through Europe for lyrical inspiration. Beyond music, he has hosted the podcast George Ezra & Friends, featuring conversations with fellow artists such as Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
