Galantis

Galantis is a Swedish electronic dance music project centered on producer Christian «Bloodshy» Karlsson, also known for his work in Miike Snow and as a producer for artists like Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue. From 2014 to 2020 the project was a duo alongside DJ and producer Style of Eye, who came aboard after remixing Miike Snow material and gaining attention for his work on Icona Pop’s «I Love It».

Signing to Big Beat Records, the duo released a self-titled EP before their 2015 debut album «Pharmacy», anchored by breakout singles «Runaway (U & I)» and «Peanut Butter Jelly» and featuring vocal collaborators such as Cathy Dennis. Galantis became known for a bright, euphoric brand of big-room and progressive house, layering pitched vocal hooks and festival-ready drops over polished pop songwriting — a sound that carried through later hits like «No Money», «Bones» and «Hunter».

The project’s visual identity was built around a mascot called the «seafox», and it continued as Bloodshy’s primary creative outlet after Style of Eye stepped back from day-to-day creative control, with Galantis maintaining a steady run of festival anthems and pop crossovers like «Heartbreak Anthem» and «Tell Me You Love Me».
