Fuerza Regida

Fuerza Regida is a Mexican regional group formed in 2015 in San Bernardino, California, led by vocalist and producer Jesús Ortiz Paz, alongside instrumentalists including requinto player Samuel Jaimez and guitarist Khrystian Ramos. Rooted in Sinaloan tradition but based in the United States, the band started out performing covers before writing original material that quickly resonated with young Mexican-American audiences.

Signed to Rancho Humilde, Fuerza Regida became a defining act of the corridos tumbados movement, blending traditional norteño and banda instrumentation—tuba, requinto, tololoche—with trap-influenced rhythms, urban slang, and street-narrative lyrics. This fusion helped modernize regional Mexican music and broaden its appeal well beyond its traditional audience, drawing comparisons and collaborations with other genre-crossing acts.

With albums like «Del Barrio Hasta Aquí» and a string of viral singles, the group has become one of the most streamed regional Mexican acts internationally, regularly charting on Billboard's Latin charts. Their rapid rise reflects the broader crossover of corridos tumbados into mainstream Latin and global music.
