Frou Frou

Frou Frou was a British duo formed by singer-songwriter Imogen Heap and producer Guy Sigsworth, active in the early 2000s. The pair released a single studio album, Details, in 2002, blending Heap's ethereal, expressive vocals with Sigsworth's intricate electronic production, a combination that placed them at the intersection of art pop, electronica, and trip-hop.

While Details received strong critical acclaim, the duo achieved their widest recognition through the song «Let Go», which appeared prominently on the soundtrack to the 2004 film Garden State and introduced Frou Frou to a much larger audience in the United States. Other tracks such as «Breathe In» and «Psychobabble» further showcased the group's atmospheric, emotionally layered songwriting style.

Heap and Sigsworth parted ways amicably in 2003, and despite periodic rumors of a reunion, they never released another album together. Imogen Heap went on to a prolific solo career with albums including Speak for Yourself, Ellipse, and Sparks, becoming known for her innovative use of technology in music, while Frou Frou's brief catalog remains a touchstone of early-2000s electronic pop.
