food house is a duo formed by American electronic producers Gupi (Spencer Hawk) and Fraxiom, emerging from the hyperpop and digicore scenes of the late 2010s and early 2020s. The pair had already collaborated informally — most notably on the fan-favorite «mos thoser» from Gupi's solo album None — before formally launching food house as a joint project in 2020 with the single «ride».

Their sound blends glitchy, maximalist electronic production with distorted, high-energy vocal hooks, drawing on hyperpop, breakcore, and internet-native rap aesthetics. Songs like «8 now», «metal», and «pharmacy» showcase their signature style: chaotic drops, pitched-up vocals, and an irreverent, meme-fluent sensibility that resonated strongly with the SoundCloud and Discord-based underground scene.

Their self-titled debut album, released in late 2020, became a defining record of the digicore movement, cementing food house's place alongside acts like 100 gecs as pioneers of a new, internet-shaped strain of pop music. The project remains influential for its DIY production ethos and its role in bringing underground online music aesthetics to a wider audience.
