FLETCHER

FLETCHER, born Cari Fletcher in New Jersey in 1994, is an American pop singer-songwriter known for candid, emotionally direct songwriting about desire, heartbreak, and identity. She began singing as a child and later competed on The X Factor USA as part of the group Lakoda Rayne before launching a solo career in 2015 with the single «War Paint», the lead track from her debut EP FINDING FLETCHER.

Her breakthrough came with «Wasted Youth» and its widely shared, LGBTQ-embraced music video, which brought her Artist to Watch recognition from outlets like TIME and Entertainment Weekly. After the #MeToo-era single «I Believe You», she signed to Capitol Records and released the Malay-produced «Undrunk» in 2019, her most commercially successful single to date.

FLETCHER's sound blends confessional pop songwriting with polished, radio-ready production, often exploring queer identity and messy relationships with disarming honesty.
