FKA twigs

FKA twigs, born Tahliah Debrett Barnett, is a British singer, songwriter, dancer, and producer whose music merges avant-garde electronic production with classically trained movement and choreography. Before her recording career, she worked as a dancer in music videos for other pop artists, an experience that continues to shape the highly physical, visual nature of her own releases. She began releasing music independently as «twigs» before adopting the FKA twigs name for her early EPs.

Her 2014 debut album «LP1» established her as one of the most inventive voices in alternative R&B and electronic pop, built on hushed, falsetto-led vocals set against skeletal, unpredictable production, with collaborators including Arca and Paul Epworth. She continued to develop this sound across the «M3LL155X» EP and the 2019 album «Magdalene», a record shaped by personal upheaval that drew widespread critical praise for its emotional intensity and ambitious arrangements.
