Figo i Samogony

Figo i Samogony are a Polish duo formed by Piotr Połać, known as Figo from the group Bracia Figo Fagot, and guitarist-composer Artur Kempa, who has worked with El Dupa, Black River, and artists such as Stachursky and Zbigniew Hołdys. Producer Andrzej "Izi" Izdebski, who has also worked with Ralph Kamiński, Kazik Staszewski, and Bracia Figo Fagot, contributes to their recordings. The project debuted in late 2020 with the single «Nie zaufam nigdy już».

Their music blends Polish pop with a wry, sometimes cabaret-like sensibility, favoring playful, provocative lyrics wrapped in catchy, guitar-driven arrangements. This tone reached its widest audience with «Erotyczne Pif-Paf», which became a major TikTok viral hit in late 2023, introducing the duo to a much broader listenership beyond the Polish alternative and cabaret circuit that Połać had built with Bracia Figo Fagot.

Beyond their breakout single, songs such as «Rozarium», «Ona Ostro Tańczy», «Siedem chudych lat», «Chcę być zakochany», «Kiedyś Cię Znajdę», «Miki Maus» and «VHS» show a consistent taste for irony and theatrical delivery layered over accessible pop songwriting, positioning Figo i Samogony as a distinctive, humor-driven voice within contemporary Polish pop.
