Fifth Harmony

Fifth Harmony formed in 2012 on the U.S. edition of The X Factor, where judge Simon Cowell combined five solo contestants — Ally Brooke, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, and Camila Cabello — into a group. Though they finished third on the show, they were signed to Syco Music and quickly became one of the decade's leading girl groups, known for tightly layered vocal harmonies over glossy pop and R&B production.

Their debut album Reflection (2015) and its hit single «Worth It», featuring Kid Ink, established their sound and commercial pull, following the earlier success of their EP Better Together. Their 2016 album 7/27 marked their commercial peak, propelled by «Work From Home» featuring Ty Dolla Sign, which became a top-five hit in the US and one of the biggest girl-group singles of the era.

Camila Cabello departed the group in December 2016 to pursue a solo career, and the remaining four members continued as Fifth Harmony, releasing their self-titled third album in 2017 with singles like «Down». The group's catalog, including earlier songs such as «BO$$», «That's My Girl», and «Don't Say You Love Me», reflects a blend of empowerment anthems and radio-friendly pop-R&B that defined their run before going on hiatus in 2018.
