About the artist
Faydee, born Fady Fatrouni, is an Australian-born singer and songwriter of Lebanese descent. He began his career after being discovered by the owner of Buckle Up Entertainment, signing to the label as a teenager and starting out as a songwriter before stepping into the spotlight as a performer. His sound blends pop, R&B and electronic elements, often with Middle Eastern and Latin flavors woven through his melodies and production.
Faydee found international success with songs like «Laugh Till You Cry», «Can't Let Go» and «Maria», which helped establish him across European and Middle Eastern markets. He also contributed to Shaggy's bilingual hit «Habibi (I Need Your Love)» alongside Mohombi and Costi, a track that went on to achieve RIAA Gold certification. His catalogue mixes club-ready dance-pop with more sentimental, melodic R&B, reflecting his ability to move fluidly between genres.
He continued building his solo career with releases such as «Lullaby» and «Sun Don't Shine», followed by two EPs: Legendary in 2016 and Patterns in 2017. Across his work, Faydee has positioned himself as an artist bridging Western pop sensibilities with sounds and collaborations rooted in Arabic music culture.
