Farruko

Farruko, born Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is one of the most commercially successful reggaeton and Latin trap artists of his generation. He began uploading music online as a teenager and was signed by established producers who recognized his versatility across reggaeton, trap, pop and electronic-tinged sounds. His breakout came with the 2016 remix of «Krippy Kush» alongside Bad Bunny and Rvssian, later reworked with Travis Scott, which helped push Latin trap into the mainstream globally.

Farruko is known for constantly shifting styles within a single project, moving from romantic reggaeton to hard trap to dembow and even flirting with Christian and reflective themes later in his career. Songs like «Pepas» became global club anthems, showcasing his ability to fuse Latin rhythms with electronic dance production. He has collaborated widely across the urbano scene, working with artists from Puerto Rico, Colombia and beyond.
