Famke Louise

Famke Louise, born Famke Meijer, is a Dutch internet personality, model and singer-rapper who rose to fame as a vlogger before crossing over into music. She first built a large following through YouTube vlogs, initially alongside the AWR squad, before going solo in 2016 and later appearing on the modeling show Models in Paris. Her move into music in 2017 proved divisive but commercially effective within the Dutch rap and pop scene.

Her debut single «Op Me Monnie» sparked heated debate among Dutch rap purists yet racked up millions of views within days, and was remixed by established rappers Frenna and BOEF, cementing her crossover appeal. She followed up with «VROOM» featuring Bokoesam and «LIT», building a catalog defined by catchy, trap-influenced Dutch-language pop-rap.

Throughout 2018 she released a steady stream of singles including «HIGH», «Slangen», «Zonder Jou» and «BEN JE DOWN?», and appeared as a feature on Ronnie Flex's «Fan» and on a remix of Idaly's «Wine Slow». Famke Louise remains a notable example of a social-media-born artist translating online fame into a recognized, if controversial, place in Dutch urban pop.
