Family Guy is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, which premiered in 1999 on Fox. The show follows the dysfunctional Griffin family — bumbling father Peter, level-headed mother Lois, teenage children Chris and Meg, football-obsessed baby genius Stewie, and the family’s wisecracking, martini-drinking dog Brian — in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island.
