Fadel Chaker, born in 1969, is a Lebanese singer and actor who rose to prominence in the late 1990s and 2000s as one of the leading voices of mainstream Levantine pop. Working within the Rotana Records system for much of his career, he built a large Arab-world following on the strength of romantic ballads and melodic pop songs delivered in a warm, emotive vocal style typical of Lebanese and broader Khaleeji-influenced pop of the era.
