Emma Heesters

Emma Heesters is a Dutch singer and songwriter who built her career primarily through YouTube covers before becoming a signed recording artist with Universal/Republic Records. She first gained attention in the Netherlands after winning the Junior Songfestival at the age of eight, and later grew her YouTube channel into the biggest Dutch music channel, amassing millions of subscribers with cover versions of contemporary pop hits.

Her breakout online moment came with a cover of Luis Fonsi's «Despacito», recorded with fellow YouTuber Jason Chen, which drew tens of millions of streams and helped establish her as one of the most successful Dutch cover artists internationally. Other widely viewed covers include renditions of Charlie Puth's «Attention» and Justin Bieber's «Let Me Love You», and she has also appeared performing on the Dutch television show «Beste Zangers van Nederland».

Beyond covers, Heesters has released original material spanning pop with touches of country and Latin-pop collaboration, including work with artist Rolf Sanchez. In 2019 she won the MTV Push Award for breakthrough artist, and her original single «Pa Olvidarte» charted in the Netherlands, marking her transition from a cover-focused YouTube phenomenon toward an artist with her own original catalog.
