Elodie

Elodie Di Patrizi, known simply as Elodie, is an Italian singer and actress born in Rome to an Italian father and a mother of Guadeloupean origin. Before entering the music industry she worked as a vocalist in clubs and performed with a jazz ensemble in Salento. She gained national visibility in 2015 as a finalist on the talent show «Amici di Maria De Filippi», which led to her 2016 debut album.

Her early work leaned toward pop and Sanremo-style balladry, including «Tutta Colpa Mia» at the 2017 Sanremo Festival, but from 2018 onward she shifted toward a more urban, R&B and electronic-pop sound. The single «Nero Bali» with Michele Bravi marked this turning point, followed by hits like «Pensare Male» with The Kolors and «Margarita», a collaboration with rapper Marracash, her longtime partner. In 2020 she returned to Sanremo with «Andromeda», released alongside the album This Is Elodie.

Elodie has become one of Italy's most prominent pop and urban-pop artists, known for reinventing her image and sound across releases and for frequent collaborations with rappers and producers from the Italian hip-hop and trap scene. Beyond music, she has also worked as an actress.
