Елена Темникова (Elena Temnikova)

Elena Temnikova is a Russian singer and songwriter, born in Kurgan. She first gained wide recognition as the lead vocalist of the girl group Serebro, which she joined in 2006 after being selected through a casting process organized by producer Maxim Fadeev. With Serebro she became one of the most visible voices in Russian pop music of the late 2000s and early 2010s, known for glossy, dance-oriented production and a string of hit singles that made the group a fixture on Russian radio and television.

Temnikova left Serebro in 2014 to pursue a solo career, launching it that same year with the single «Зависимость» (Zavisimost). Her solo work moved toward a more contemporary, electronic-leaning pop sound, often exploring introspective and emotionally direct lyrics about relationships, independence, and self-identity, a shift that distinguished her from the more polished, chart-driven style of her Serebro years.

Beyond music, she has worked as a television and radio host and has been involved in fashion and design projects, reflecting a broader public presence in Russian entertainment.
