eaJ

eaJ, born Jae Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in Long Beach, California, is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who first gained wider recognition as a member of the South Korean band DAY6. Before that, he appeared as one of the finalists on the first season of the K-pop Star singing competition, which set him on a path into the Korean music industry.

As a member of DAY6 from the band's formation until his departure from JYP Entertainment in late 2021, Jae contributed vocals and guitar to the group's blend of pop-rock. Alongside his band work, he built an independent online presence through his YouTube channel JaeSix and later through Twitch streaming, cultivating a direct connection with fans outside the traditional K-pop system.

After leaving JYP, he launched his solo career under the name eaJ, debuting in April 2022 with the pop-rock single «Car Crash». His solo output, including tracks like «pacman», «pillows» and «Rose», leans into introspective, alternative-leaning pop-rock songwriting that reflects his bicultural upbringing and stands apart from his idol-group origins.
