Dynamic Duo (다이나믹 듀오)

Dynamic Duo is a South Korean hip-hop duo formed by rappers Choiza and Gaeko, two of the genre's most influential figures on the Korean scene. Both had performed together as members of the earlier group CB Mass before that trio disbanded, and they reunited as Dynamic Duo, breaking through with their 2004 debut album «Taxi Driver», one of the best-selling Korean hip-hop records of its era.

Their sound blends boom-bap foundations with soul and R&B textures, built around Gaeko's raspy, melodic flow and Choiza's laid-back, conversational delivery. In 2006 they founded the label Amoeba Culture, which became a home base for their own releases and for a wider circle of Korean rap and R&B artists, cementing Dynamic Duo's role as both performers and industry builders.

Across albums like «Enlightened», «Last Days» and later «Grand Carnival», they have worked with a broad range of collaborators from Korea's hip-hop and pop scenes, tracks such as «AEAO» and «Smoke» showing their continued reach with younger audiences. Decades into their career, Dynamic Duo remain a benchmark act for Korean hip-hop's mainstream credibility.
