Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson, widely known by his ring name The Rock, is an American actor, producer, and former professional wrestler born on May 2, 1972. Following a college football career at the University of Miami, where he was part of the 1991 national championship team, and a brief stint in the Canadian Football League, Johnson turned to professional wrestling, following in the footsteps of his father Rocky Johnson and grandfather Peter Maivia.

He rose to stardom in the WWF/WWE during the late-1990s Attitude Era, becoming one of the promotion's most charismatic performers and a multi-time world champion known for his sharp promo work and catchphrases.
