About the artist
Duke Dumont, born Adam Dyment on August 27, 1982, is a British DJ, record producer, and songwriter who became one of the leading figures in house music during the early 2010s. He runs the record label Blasé Boys Club and helped popularize a stripped-back, groove-focused strain of house that drew on deep house and disco influences while remaining accessible to mainstream radio audiences.
His breakthrough came with «Need U (100%)», featuring vocalist A*M*E, which topped the UK Singles Chart in 2013 and established his signature sound: warm basslines, filtered vocal hooks, and a patient, club-built sense of build and release. He followed it with further hits including «I Got U» with Jax Jones and «Ocean Drive», the latter becoming one of his most enduring and widely streamed tracks, showcasing a more melodic, summery side of his production.
Duke Dumont's work sits at the intersection of underground house credibility and pop crossover success, and his catalogue has influenced a generation of producers working in tropical and deep house adjacent styles. Through Blasé Boys Club he has also supported and released music from other artists, extending his footprint beyond his own singles into the wider house scene.
