Dreamer Isioma is a Nigerian-American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Chicago whose music resists easy genre labels, blending indie pop, alternative R&B, Afrobeats-inflected rhythm, and rock guitar textures into a distinctly fluid sound. Raised partly in cities like London and Lagos before settling in Chicago, they began studying music theory, piano, and violin at a young age, giving their songwriting an unusually developed harmonic sensibility for an artist working largely in lo-fi, bedroom-pop-adjacent spaces.

Isioma's breakthrough came with «Sensitive», a song that spread widely on TikTok around 2020 and introduced their warm, emotionally direct songwriting to a broad audience.
