Drast

Drast is the stage name of Marco De Cesaris, an Italian singer-songwriter, producer, rapper and sound engineer from Naples, born in 2001. His alias blends the words dream and last. He began sharing music online around 2014, first on YouTube and later on SoundCloud, building a home-recording, DIY approach that still shapes his sound.

He became widely known as one half of PSICOLOGI, the duo he formed with Lil Kvneki after their 2019 track «Psicologi/Diploma». Together they released two albums and two EPs, blending rap with melodic, emo-tinged pop and introspective lyrics about mental health and youth.

In 2022 Drast moved into a solo career, following the same path as Kvneki, and released his debut solo album Indaco in 2023. His solo work leans into atmospheric, melancholic pop-rap production, continuing the confessional songwriting that made PSICOLOGI popular with a young Italian audience.
