D.O. (Doh Kyung Soo)

D.O., born Do Kyung-soo, is a South Korean singer and actor best known as the main vocalist of the boy group EXO, which debuted in 2012 under SM Entertainment. Within EXO and its sub-unit EXO-K, D.O. quickly became recognized for his powerful, emotive vocal delivery, standing out in a lineup built around varied musical strengths.

Alongside his group work, D.O. built a substantial acting career, starring in Korean dramas such as «It's Okay, That's Love» and «100 Days My Prince», and films including «Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds» and «Swing Kids», balancing music and screen work across the 2010s. His voice-first approach carried over into his solo career: the 2019 acoustic ballad «괜찮아도 괜찮아 (That's Okay)» showcased a stripped-back, intimate side distinct from EXO's polished K-pop production.

He formally launched his solo discography with the 2021 mini-album «공감 (Empathy)», followed by the 2023 album «기대 (Expectation)» and the 2024 mini-album «성장 (Blossom)», which included the singles «Popcorn» and «Mars». Moving to Company SooSoo for his individual promotions, D.O. has developed a solo sound that leans on soulful, R&B-inflected pop, distinguishing his own artistic identity from EXO's group image while remaining tied to the group's broader legacy in Korean pop music.
