Disclosure is an English electronic music duo formed by brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence in Surrey, England. Emerging in the early 2010s, they became central figures in the UK garage and house revival, blending deep basslines, chopped vocal samples and two-step rhythms into a polished pop-adjacent sound. Their 2013 debut album «Settle» was a landmark of the era, spawning hits like «Latch» and «White Noise» and helping launch the career of Sam Smith, who they introduced to a wide audience.

Over the following albums, «Caracal» and «Energy», the duo continued collaborating with a broad range of vocalists and rappers, pulling dance music toward mainstream radio without abandoning its club roots. Tracks such as «Omen» with Sam Smith and «You & Me» showcase their gift for atmospheric, emotionally direct songwriting layered over crisp, danceable production.

Disclosure's meticulous studio craft, built on live instrumentation as much as electronic tools, set a new standard for dance albums and influenced a generation of producers who followed.
