Debbie Reynolds

Debbie Reynolds (1932-2016) was an American actress, singer, and businesswoman who became a major star of Hollywood’s golden musical era. Discovered as a teenager and put under contract by Warner Bros. and later MGM, she rose to fame in the 1952 musical Singin’ in the Rain, which remains her most iconic film role and one of the most celebrated Hollywood musicals ever made.

As a singer, Reynolds recorded charming, warm pop and light-country material tied closely to her film work and to the wholesome, upbeat persona she cultivated on screen, with songs like «Tammy» becoming closely associated with her.
