Darshan Raval

Darshan Raval is an Indian singer, songwriter, and composer from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, who rose to prominence after appearing on the reality show India's Raw Star and has since become one of the most popular voices in contemporary Bollywood and independent Hindi pop music. His breakthrough came with the single «Tera Zikr», an independently released song that gathered hundreds of millions of views and established him as a hitmaker outside the traditional film-music pipeline, a relatively unusual path in an industry long dominated by soundtrack composers.

His sound blends melodic, romantic pop songwriting with contemporary R&B-influenced production and occasional folk and country-tinged textures, and his warm, distinctive tenor voice has made him a fixture on film soundtracks as well as on non-film singles.
