Daniel Shake

Daniel Shake, the stage name of Daniil Shaykhinurov (born March 20, 1992), is a Russian musician best known as a former member of the band OQJAV before pursuing a broader solo and collaborative path, including work as part of the duo «Мы» (Mi). His music moves through pop, electronic and rap textures, often marked by introspective, emotionally raw Russian-language lyrics.

His solo catalogue includes releases such as «Знаки зодиака» (2016) and the EPs «Live Summer» and «Loosen Me Up», followed later by the album «Расставание» (2018), the EP «BOO!» (2018) and «Из клуба к ней» (2020). Tracks like «Зеркало», «Тупой» and «Больно» reflect his tendency toward stark, confessional songwriting layered over minimalist, electronic-leaning production.

Shake's work also extends into Spanish-language material such as «Quemé el frame!», showing an openness to crossing linguistic and stylistic boundaries beyond the Russian indie and alternative pop scene he emerged from with OQJAV.
