Daniel Bedingfield

Daniel Bedingfield is a British-New Zealand singer, songwriter and record producer from London, and the brother of singer Natasha Bedingfield and singer-songwriter Nikola Bedingfield. He broke through in the early 2000s with a self-produced sound built on garage and R&B rhythms fused with pop songwriting, a combination that felt distinct on UK radio at the time.

His 2002 debut album «Gotta Get Thru This» made him a star, powered by the title track and the ballad «If You're Not the One», both of which became defining hits of the UK garage-pop crossover era. The album's mix of upbeat, beat-driven tracks and heartfelt ballads showcased his range as both producer and vocalist.

After a period of lower public visibility following his 2013 comeback project «Stop the Traffik – Secret Fear», Bedingfield shifted focus toward songwriting and production for other artists. Notably, he co-wrote Secondcity's UK number-one single «I Wanna Feel» and worked with X Factor alumni Ben Haenow and Matt Terry, while «Gotta Get Thru This» itself found new life as a sample in Fifth Harmony's «Work from Home».
