About the artist
Dalex, born Pedro David Daleccio Torres on October 7, 1990 in Philadelphia and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is one of the leading voices of the modern reggaeton and Latin trap wave. Before pursuing a solo career he was part of the duo Jayma y Dalex, going independent in 2017 when he signed with Rich Music. His breakthrough came with the remix of «Puesto pal Millon» alongside Alex Rose, Arcángel, Myke Towers, Justin Quiles and Sech, which established his place within a new generation of Puerto Rican urban artists.
His sound blends melodic R&B-influenced hooks with reggaeton and trap rhythms, favoring lush, radio-friendly production. He released the EPs License to Trap and La Nueva Ola in 2018, followed by his debut album Climaxxx in 2019, which earned him a Premios Juventud nomination. In 2020 he issued the EP Modo Avión, led by the single «Mejor» featuring Sech.
He is best known for massive collaborative remixes, most notably «Pa Mí (Remix)» with Sech, Rafa Pabön, Cazzu, Feid, Khea and Lenny Tavárez, and «Hola (Remix)» with Lenny Tavárez, Chencho Corleone and others, both amassing hundreds of millions of views, making him a central connector figure in the Latin urban scene.
