DAKOOKA

Dakooka is the stage name of Ekaterina Yeryomenko, a Ukrainian pop singer, songwriter and composer who built her career on independent releases rather than mainstream label backing. Emerging in the mid-2010s with the album «Radha», she developed a sound that blends pop hooks with elements of rock, R&B and electronic production, giving her music a genre-fluid, contemporary feel distinct from typical Ukrainian pop of the era.

Her catalogue grew steadily through albums such as «Герой», «Стрэнджлава» and «Да кто такой этот ваш FEAT?», alongside numerous singles and EPs including «Море», «Форма» and «Так интереснее». Songs like «Умри если меня не любишь (Die If You Don't Love Me)» and «Герой (Hero)» became some of her better-known tracks, often released with both Russian and English versions to reach wider audiences.

Dakooka is known for a distinctive, emotionally direct vocal style paired with atmospheric, electronic-tinged production. She has cultivated a devoted following through consistent independent output and an active online presence across YouTube, Instagram and VKontakte, positioning her as one of the more idiosyncratic voices in Ukrainian pop.
