Dadju

Dadju is a French singer of Congolese descent, born David Anthony Junior Ntukam. He first gained recognition as a member of the group The Shin Sekai before launching his solo career with the mixtape Gentleman 2.0 in 2017, which was later reissued with additional tracks. His music sits at the crossroads of R&B, pop and rap, marked by smooth, radio-friendly melodies and Afro-Caribbean-influenced production.

In 2018 he released Poison Ou Antidote, a double album featuring collaborations with major names in French rap such as Nekfeu, Damso and Koba LaD; the project was certified platinum within a month of release and was later reissued as Édition Miel Book in 2020. These records cemented Dadju as one of the most commercially successful R&B-pop artists in the French-speaking market.

His third studio album, Cullinan, named after the famous diamond, arrived in 2022 with seventeen tracks and guest appearances from artists including Hamza, Ronisia, Gazo, Rema and Imen Es. Across his catalogue, songs like «Reine», «Jaloux» and «Django» showcase his knack for melodic hooks and emotionally direct songwriting, making him a consistent presence on French charts and streaming playlists.
