D. Imman

D. Imman, born Immanuel Vasanth Dinakaran, is an Indian film composer and singer best known for his work in Tamil cinema, though he has also scored films in Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi. He made his debut as a music director with «Thamizhan» in 2002 and has since become one of the most prolific composers of his generation, scoring well over a hundred films across South Indian film industries.

His music is rooted in melody-driven Tamil film scoring, blending folk textures, devotional undertones, and lush orchestration with contemporary pop sensibilities. He is particularly noted for emotionally resonant love songs and rural-flavored numbers that draw on traditional Tamil instrumentation while remaining accessible to mainstream audiences.
