Cub Sport

Cub Sport is an Australian pop band formed in Brisbane, built around the core creative partnership of vocalist Tim Nelson and keyboardist Sam Netterfield, alongside bassist Zoe Davis and drummer Dan Puusaari. Emerging in the mid-2010s, the band moved from dreamy indie-pop beginnings toward a more polished, synth-driven pop sound, with Nelson’s openly queer songwriting becoming a defining and widely praised element of their identity.

Tracks like «Come On Mess Me Up», «Party Pill» and «Sometimes» showcase the band’s knack for lush, emotionally direct pop hooks layered over shimmering synths and warm production, while songs such as «Hawaiian Party» and «Chasin’» lean into a breezier, feel-good tone.
