Conor Maynard

Conor Maynard is an English singer and songwriter from Brighton who built his following on YouTube, where he began posting song covers in 2010. His breakout came with acoustic and R&B-inflected covers of hits by artists like Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, which showcased his smooth, agile vocal style and led to a major-label deal. His 2012 debut album Contrast leaned into a pop and R&B sound, spawning UK chart hits, and was followed by EPs such as Animal, featuring British rapper Wiley on the title track.

Maynard has continued to straddle the line between original pop material and viral cover content, releasing his 2016 album Covers alongside the original single This Is My Version.
