CNCO

CNCO is a Latin pop and reggaetón boy band formed in Miami, Florida, on December 13, 2015, from four finalists of the reality show La Banda: Christopher Vélez (Ecuador), Erick Brian Colón (Cuba), Richard Camacho (Dominican Republic), and Zabdiel de Jesús (Puerto Rico). The group signed with Sony Music Latin and Simon Cowell's SYCO label after winning the competition, giving them an unusually high-profile launch for a Latin pop act.

Their 2016 debut album Primera Cita produced the hits «Tan Fácil», «Quisiera», and the breakthrough single «Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)», which helped define their sound as a blend of romantic pop balladry with reggaetón rhythm. The 2018 self-titled follow-up CNCO expanded their reach further with «Hey DJ», «Se Vuelve Loca», and «Mamita», cementing them as one of the most visible Latin boy bands of the late 2010s.

CNCO distinguished themselves by experimenting beyond Spanish-language material, recording songs in English and Japanese to broaden their international fanbase. The band operated as a quartet after founding member Joel Pimentel announced his departure in May 2021, with his final concert taking place that same month.
