Christian Leave

Christian Leave, born Christian Akridge, is an American singer-songwriter who first built a massive following as a Vine creator before moving into music. His early social-media fame — hundreds of thousands of followers — gave him a built-in audience when he began releasing original songs and covers in the mid-2010s, including versions of Kings of Leon's «Use Somebody» and Vance Joy's «Riptide».

His music sits in a soft pop-rock lane aimed at a young, emotionally earnest listenership: acoustic-leaning production, direct lyrics about longing and heartbreak, and a delivery that carries over from his conversational on-camera persona. His debut EP «Hope», released in 2016 through Pressplay's management, included the songs that remain his best known, «Please Notice» and «Safe and Sound» among them, alongside a cover of «Can't Help Falling in Love».
