About the artist
Chris Kirkpatrick, born October 17, 1971, is an American singer, songwriter and dancer best known as a founding member of the pop vocal group *NSYNC, one of the defining acts of the late-1990s teen pop boom. Within the group he sang countertenor, contributing the group’s distinctive high harmonies.
Beyond his work with *NSYNC, Kirkpatrick has been active as a songwriter and producer, and has taken on voice acting roles as well as appearances on numerous reality television shows, extending his career well past the group’s commercial peak. His musical output spans pop, R&B and rock-leaning material reflecting the broad, hook-driven style associated with his generation of boy-band pop.
While *NSYNC remains the cornerstone of his legacy, Kirkpatrick’s later projects show an artist working across formats — from vocal group harmonies to production and screen work — staying connected to pop music and entertainment long after his breakout years.
