chloe moriondo

chloe moriondo (born September 29, 2002) is a singer-songwriter from Michigan who began her career posting covers and original songs, including the early track «Waves», to YouTube, where her voice and songwriting quickly drew a large online following. Early collaborations and touring with Cavetown helped establish her within the bedroom-pop and indie internet music scene. Moriondo uses she/they pronouns and is known for primarily playing ukulele and guitar.

Her debut album, Rabbit Hearted, arrived in 2018, followed by the EP Spirit Orb in 2020 and the breakout Blood Bunny in 2021, which she has described as her first «big kid» album, moving from lo-fi bedroom pop into more polished indie-pop songwriting. In 2022 she released SUCKERPUNCH, a harder-edged record that marked her first dive into hyperpop, expanding her sound with sharper production and more aggressive songwriting.

Moriondo has continued to collaborate widely, appearing on Cavetown's worm food and Pierce the Veil's The Jaws of Life, and released the standalone single «Killbot!» in 2023 as part of Bose & NME's C23 Mixtape. Across her catalog — spanning tracks like «Kindergarten», «Manta Rays» and «Bugbear» — she moves fluidly between introspective indie pop, punchy pop-rock and hyperpop-inflected experimentation, reflecting an artist who grew up publicly online and kept evolving alongside her audience.
