Chlöe

Chlöe, born Chloe Elizabeth Bailey on July 1, 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American singer, songwriter, producer and actress who first rose to prominence as one half of the R&B duo Chloe x Halle alongside her younger sister Halle. Raised partly in Mableton, Georgia before her family relocated to Los Angeles, she began acting as a child, appearing in films such as The Fighting Temptations, and started writing songs around age ten under her father's guidance.

As a solo artist, Chlöe stepped out in the early 2020s with a cover of Nina Simone's «Feeling Good» before releasing her debut single «Have Mercy» in 2021. Her solo work leans into bold, self-produced R&B and pop with sensual, confident lyrics, marking a deliberate departure from the polished harmonies of her duo work in favor of a rawer, more experimental sound. Tracks like «Treat Me», «For the Night» and «Surprise» showcase her range between vulnerability and empowerment.
