Cheat Codes

Cheat Codes is an American EDM/pop trio formed in Los Angeles in 2014, consisting of Trevor Dahl, KEVI (formerly Kevin Ford), and Matthew Russell. The group emerged from the wave of dance-pop producers who built their sound on radio-friendly hooks, sample-driven production, and collaborations spanning pop, hip-hop, and country audiences.

Their first major breakthrough came in 2016 with «Sex», a collaboration with Dutch trio Kris Kross Amsterdam that sampled Salt-N-Pepa's «Let's Talk About Sex» and became a streaming hit. The following year, «No Promises» featuring Demi Lovato pushed the group into the mainstream, cracking the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and amassing hundreds of millions of streams.

Since then, Cheat Codes has become a consistent presence on Billboard's Dance/Electronic charts, working with a wide range of artists including Fetty Wap, David Guetta, Little Mix, Kim Petras, All Time Low, and Little Big Town — reflecting their crossover approach that blends EDM production with pop, country, and hip-hop influences. Tracks like «Only You», «Stay With You», and «Feels Great» continue their run of accessible, hook-forward dance-pop.
