Чай Вдвоем (Chay Vdvoem)

Chay Vdvoem (Чай Вдвоём, literally Tea for Two) is a Russian pop duo formed by composer and singer Denis Klyaver and poet, singer and actor Stanislav Kostyushkin. Active from 1994 to 2012, the duo became one of the most recognizable acts of Russian mainstream pop in the late 1990s and 2000s, known for melodic, sentimental songs built around romantic and family themes.

Their sound leans on soft, radio-friendly pop arrangements with simple, memorable melodies and lyrics centered on love, relationships and everyday emotions, a style that made them a fixture of Russian-language pop radio and television for nearly two decades. Songs such as «Просто Друг», «День Рождения» and «Белое Платье» became widely known hits that defined the group's catalog.

After Klyaver pursued a solo career and Kostyushkin moved into acting and entrepreneurship, the duo went on hiatus in 2012. In December 2022 they announced a reunion, reviving interest in their earlier material among longtime fans of Russian pop.
