CHANYEOL

CHANYEOL, born Park Chan-yeol, is a South Korean rapper, singer, and songwriter best known as a member of the K-pop boy group EXO, one of the defining acts of the group's generation. In 2019 he formed the sub-unit EXO-SC alongside fellow member Sehun, and he writes music under the pen name «LOEY», registered with the Korea Music Copyright Association.

Within EXO, CHANYEOL has been closely involved in songwriting and production, contributing to the group's material beyond his role as a performer. His biggest breakthrough as a soloist came with «Stay With Me», the soundtrack song for the drama Goblin performed with singer Punch, which became a massive commercial and streaming success. He also appeared on the international collaboration «Freal Luv» with Far East Movement, Marshmello, and Tinashe, showing his reach beyond the K-pop scene.

As a solo artist, CHANYEOL debuted with «봄 여름 가을 겨울 (SSFW)» under SM Station in 2019 and later released the collaborative hit «Yours» with DJ Raiden, Lee Hi, and CHANGMO. In 2024 he released his debut solo album, Black Out, moving toward a rock sound that marked a notable departure from typical K-pop production and highlighted his range as a songwriter and vocalist.
